How to set permissions for my team?

The first step in activating user access for a team member is to add them as a Person. The video below shows how permissions can be set on Asora for users who have been added as Persons.

Note: A user will first need to be activated, and then have their permissions set.

Users on Asora can be given access to data on three different levels

  • Client admin
  • Family Admin
  • Partial Level

Client Level Permissions

A user with client level permissions has Access to everything across a Client.

  • All Families

  • All Owners & Entities

  • All Accounts and Assets/Liabilities/Balances

  • All Portfolios

  • Security Section within the Platform

Client Admin also has the ability to

  • Create New Families

  • Edit any existing Family

  • Grant access to any Family

Note: When an Owner/Entity is added the Owner/Entity is automatically added to the relevant family from which it was added.

    Family Admin Permissions

A user with family level permissions has access to everything across a Family.

    • All Owners & Entities within the Family
    • All Accounts and Assets/Liabilities/Balances Owner by an Owner/Entity in the Family
      • Including partial ownership
    • All Portfolios where every holding is owner by an Owner/Entity in the Family

Family Admin also has the ability to:

    • Edit the relevant Family

    • Grant access to the relevant Family

Note: When an Owner/Entity is added the Owner/Entity is automatically added to the relevant family from which it was added.

    Partial Permissions

Where users have partial level of permissions within families, they can be given access to specific owners and entities, and specific accounts and assets owned by them. A user with partial level of permissions has access to:

    • All holdings within permitted accounts
    • All transactions associated with permitted accounts
    • All performance calculations for the permitted accounts and underlying Holdings
    • The Owner(s) in Net Worth
      • With only the value of the account as the Net Worth
    • The Realised and Unrealised Loss for permitted accounts.
    • Mandates linked to permitted accounts
    • Notifications associated with permitted accounts
    • All documents linked to permitted accounts
