What is the Position Rec?
The position rec is a section in Asora that helps users view and conduct a quick reconciliation check on all the instruments held within the family on the platform to identify and investigate any data anomalies.
The position rec is divided into three sub-sections:
- Overview
- The overview tab displays a list of all accounts and private assets held on the platform.
- Basic account/private asset details are included in the Account and Account ID columns.
- The Status column indicates whether there are any discrepancies between the holdings confirmed by the provider and those calculated by Asora based on the transactions for the account/private asset under consideration. If there are no discrepancies, the status will be 'Reconciled', if there are any discrepancies for the date range under consideration, the status will be 'Break', and if there are discrepancies but outside the date range under consideration, the status will be 'Past Conflict'.
- By Account

- The Account tab displays a list of all accounts and private assets held on the platform.
- Basic account/private asset details are included in the Account and Account ID columns.
- The Status column indicates whether there are any discrepancies between the holdings confirmed by the provider and those calculated by Asora based on the transactions for the account/private asset under consideration. If there are no discrepancies, the status will be 'Reconciled', if there are any discrepancies for the date range under consideration, the status will be 'Break'.
- By Holding
- The Holding tab gives you a deeper look into the transactions linked to a specific asset within an account or a private asset.
- You can choose your institution and specific account/private asset to get a detailed look into the transactions and check where the Break occurs.
