How to change the provider of an asset

A Provider is an institution that your asset is held with. On Asora, this is an editable field that can be changed for accounts and private assets.

To change the provider of an asset:

Step 1 - Search for the asset using the universal search button or in Datahub > Assets & Liabilities.

Step 2 - Click on the asset to launch the asset card.

Step 3 - Click on the three dots on the top right corner of the card and click on Edit. 

Step 4 - Click on the 'Provider' field in the Overview tab of the asset card.

Step 5 - This will show you a dropdown list if providers we currently have on the platform.

Step 6 - Choose the provider.

Step 7 - Click on Save on the bottom of the asset card to save your changes.
