  • Portfolio Performance Reports

A portfolio performance report provides a summary of one or more selected portfolios during a specified time frame, comparing their performance to a selected benchmark. When generating a portfolio performance report, you have the option to select the portfolio(s) for which you wish to export details, choose the reporting currency, designate benchmark(s) for assessing portfolio performance, define a date range, and specify the report format (Word or PDF).

Please note that for performance metrics to be included in the report, the contribution analysis has to be toggled on for the portfolios which can be done by navigating to Datahub > Data Quality > Portfolios > Toggle the contribution switch on.

A portfolio performance report includes a snapshot of the make of the portfolio by different asset classes along with their performance indicted by metrics such as Return % and Contribution %. There is also an editable commentary box that can be used to add any comments by the users when exported in the Word format. A section of the report is dedicated to a comparison of the portfolio's performance with that of a selected benchmark for the chosen time frame. A summary of the portfolio performance by asset class is also included in the report with their opening balance, cashflow, closing balance, net income, and other metrics. The report then includes a detailed table of every instrument within the portfolio with their performance metrics such as opening balance, closing balance, cash flow, returns, and so on.
